For audio files longer than 8 minutes, our smart algorithm analyzes silence patterns to automatically detect natural segment boundaries. You can pick a preset for rehearsals, lectures, podcasts, lessons, or live sets, then tune how much silence stays inside one part versus how long a pause should be before a new part starts.

Pro Tip:The fast auto-cut mode runs a quick envelope scan (<1s) and adapts thresholds to each file without manual tuning, while still enforcing a sensible time-based cap on the total number of detected parts.
